FAQs

Questions? We Have Answers.

Everything parents and students want to know before joining — answered honestly.

Admissions

How do I get admission to Matrix Mantra Academy?
Simple: (1) Fill an enquiry form or call us. (2) Attend a free demo class. (3) Speak with our counsellor about the right batch. (4) Complete the enrollment form and join. Admissions are open year-round, subject to seat availability.
Is there an entrance test for admission?
No formal entrance test is required. A counselling session helps us understand the student's level, after which we guide them to the most suitable batch. For advanced JEE/NEET batches, a brief assessment may be conducted to ensure correct placement.
When do new batches start?
New batches start at the beginning of each academic session (April–May) and after December/January boards for droppers. Mid-session joining is possible subject to seat availability. Contact us for the latest schedule.

Batch Size & Teaching

What is the batch size at Matrix Mantra?
We maintain small batches — typically 15–25 students per batch. This ensures every student gets personalised attention and no doubt goes unaddressed.
Do students get individual doubt-clearing sessions?
Yes. In addition to regular class time for doubts, we schedule dedicated weekly doubt-clearing sessions. Students can also approach faculty during break hours and designated doubt slots.
How is the teaching different from other coaching institutes?
Concept-first, not formula-first. We ensure students understand the 'why' before the 'how'. Our faculty from IIT Delhi and Thapar University bring both academic rigour and practical exam strategy. Small batches mean no student is left behind.

Fees & Payments

What are the fee ranges for different programs?
Fees vary based on the program, class level, and subjects selected. We aim to keep fees competitive for the quality provided. For exact details, please contact us or visit any branch — we walk you through the fee structure transparently.
Are there any scholarships or fee waivers available?
Yes. Merit-based scholarships and hardship waivers are available on a case-by-case basis. Speak with our counsellor during the admission discussion for details.
Can fees be paid in installments?
Yes. We offer semester-wise and quarterly payment schedules. Details are discussed during the enrollment process.

Demo Classes

Is the demo class really free?
Absolutely — completely free, no strings attached. You attend a real class with existing students and experience our teaching methodology before making any commitment.
How long is the demo class?
Typically one standard session (~1.5 hours). Based on your program, we'll arrange a Physics, Mathematics, or Biology session with the relevant faculty.

Board + Competitive Prep

Can you prepare for both boards and JEE/NEET simultaneously?
Yes — this is one of Matrix Mantra's core strengths. Our curriculum is integrated: board and competitive concepts are taught in tandem. Regular tests for each ensure nothing falls behind.
My child is in Class 11. Is it too late for JEE/NEET preparation?
Not at all. Class 11 is the ideal starting point. Two full years of focused preparation is more than enough. Droppers also benefit from our structured repeat-year program.
Does the academy provide study materials?
Yes. All enrolled students receive curated, faculty-designed materials — theory notes, problem sets, and chapter-wise tests — aligned to board patterns and the latest JEE/NEET question trends.

Still Have Questions?
